Can you manipulate video outside of VideoPlayer properties?

The properties of VideoPlayer are pretty barebones, but maybe there are ways of editing video or changing the look of video outside of that? I’m looking to change opacity and layer videos on top of each other with different blending modes (like multiply, overlay, difference, etc), things like that. Is that possible? If so, how?

You’ll have to use shaders. You can change the renderMode of the video player to either render the video into an existing RenderTexture or directly set a texture property of an existing material.

This way you can get multiple videos as texture inputs in a shader and then combine/process them however you like. Or you can use this to have multiple video planes, each with a different shader, but then you’re limited to the blend modes you can have in shaders.

You can also use videos with an alpha channel but it gets a bit complicated.
