Hi guys, i’m very new to this and just wondering about something, can i use some assets provided with some of the free unity tutorials (such as space shooter) ?

Yes. Note that a few of UT’s assets have a different licence, like Unity-chan, but for the most part they have directly confirmed that you can use those assets. I know it came up in at least the roguelike tutorial.
Yes. Just be aware that this can be done by everyone and that your game may be received poorly by some people for it.
