Hi Guys,
I’m following a tutorial on Networking and have installed a number of packages and things to setup this project as the tutor has done. When I went to build initially I had an error below:
“currently selected scripting backend(il2cpp) is not installed”
So I googled it and fixed in by adding in the unity hub under the installs tab. Then when I go to build, the process begins fine as far as I can see until I get to this part:

The progress bar disappears and nothing appears onscreen and nothing in my destined folder.
I have done nothing to edit anything except change the unity input system from old to both new and old, and also adding the pong scene to the project settings.

So I didn’t realize about my errors in the console and also I have read a few other threads about ILCPP and the error below. I installed Windows 10 SDK and still get this error:
Exception: C++ code builder is unable to build C++ code. In order to build C++ code for Windows Desktop, you must have one of these installed:
Visual Studio 2015 with C++ compilers and Windows 10 SDK (it cannot build C++ code because it is not installed or missing C++ workload component)
Visual Studio 2015 installation is found by looking at "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\14.0_Config\InstallDir" in the registry
Windows 10 SDK is found by looking at "SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v10.0\InstallationFolder" in the registry
Visual Studio 2017 (or newer) with C++ compilers and Windows 10 SDK (it cannot build C++ code because it is not installed or missing C++ workload component)
Visual Studio 2017 (or newer) installation is found using Microsoft.VisualStudio.Setup.Configuration COM APIs
Windows 10 SDK is found by looking at "SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v10.0\InstallationFolder" in the registry

Fixed now by downloading “Desktop development with C++”.
On Visual Studio installer click modify and find the workload below
