Cannot create a second (or third, or fourth, etc.) Project view

On 0a18, I need to create a second Project view that I would lock on the prefabs folder, but I cannot. Since we could do that in previous versions and it was very convenient, I don’t see why you removed this.

Please, put it back. Thank you.

I cannot use the “Add tab” contextual menu either since it’s broken on Linux. Oh, and Ctrl+5 doesn’t work either.

I don’t see anything changed in this regard on Windows. Everything works as you described:

  • Windows/Panels/Project (CTRL-5) only opens a new Project window if there is none open, otherwise puts the focus on the opened one
  • Hamburger menu/Add tab/Project adds a new project tab to the section

This is how it works on 2023.3.0a18 and on 2022.3.16f1.

Your only problem probably stems from the fact that apparently the hamburger menu doesn’t work?

Thank you for your snswer.
Yes, the contextual menu is broken on Linux. The part that should display by itself after hovering over “Add tab” doesn’t work.
I suspected that the other options worked as intended, thanks for the confirmation.
I’m left with zero possibilities to add a project view since there is apparently no way to add a shortcut for this?

I found a workaround but the contextual menu should be fixed anyway on Linux, please @LeonhardP Also, please make the search field a little more visible, not everyone has cat’s eyes.

And happy new year!
