i did install the unity3D 2020 ver.
and i did try to open cs file in editor,
then, nothing to happen.
i had try some ways.
to delete and reinstall Visual studio Editor package.
to delete and reinstall Visual Studio Extension for integerating the unity.
to delete and reinstall Unity3D Editor 2020 ver.
but, still nothing happen.
Is your Unity setup to use Visual Studio? Check your preferences under Edit > Preferences > External Tools

i did check that already… but, still not work.
I have the same problem. It was OK with all 2019 versions of Unity. But after installing 2020 it don’t opening Visual Studio for editing scripts. In Preferences there is a strange symbol between “Community” and “2019”

If you have visual studio on your computer, Simply delete the “Visual studio editor” package and that’s it.
