Cannot start standalone Mac builds

So, I was uploading a standalone Intel build of a tech demo we are doing, but no one other than myself was able to start the apps on their computers. Am I missing something really big here, or is something just strange? The .app just plain refuses to start, no more, no less.
Note: We are all on pretty new Intel Macs so that’s not the problem ^^ Would be a bit too obvious otherwise.

I usually ZIP my .app before sending and everything works fine. Maybe try that in case the FTP? client is ignoring some files in the .app bundle.

Thanks, Jeff, I’ll be trying that later today. Though I am a bit worried this might not help either, since I post this straight to Dropbox and not to an FTP client (if that makes any real difference x_x). Well, I’ll just have to find out. ^^

I use Dropbox for some distribution files .zip and webplayers without a problem. I also use it to store my main project folder to sync between computers. The only time I’ve had a problem is if Dropbox hasn’t finished syncing. I could definitely see that causing the non-start issue.

sure you did the right build?
there are 3 builds, the universal, then the intel only and the ppc only

Thanks for your replies. I think the zipping thing worked its magic, since one of the guys reported it working. Not heard from the other one, but I think the same goes for him. And yes, I am sure it was the Intel build ^^ Thanks again!
