Can't add motion to an animator.

I’m trying to drag an animation to the Motion input for the animator I have. It won’t let me drag it in. And when I click the circle beside it I can’t find any animations in the scene.

May be the animation you’re trying to drag is Legacy? or its model (if the animation is imported from a model) has Rig->AnimationMode set to Legacy in its import settings?
