I can’t find the option to add WebGL in Unity Hub. Only ‘Show in Explorer’ and ‘Remove from Hub’ appear. When I installed Unity 6, I selected the option to add WebGL, but I still can’t use it. I realized this issue while following the Unity 6 platform tutorial. How can I manually install WebGL Build Support?
Is this the full cogwheel menu? It seems cut off at the bottom. There ought to be a “Add Modules” menu item through which you can select and install platform modules such as WebGL.
On my Mac “Add Modules” is actually at the bottom. If that’s missing for you I suggest to uninstall the editor and then also uninstall the Hub and reinstall.
Hey!
I’m new to Unity and had the same problem (Win10, Unity 6).
I found that this issue was caused by installing Unity 6 using the standalone installer downloaded manually (after Unity 6 has been installed, I installed Unity Hub, then inside Hub I manually located the Unity 6 editor using ‘Locate Editor’).
To fix it, I uninstalled Unity 6 manually and then reinstalled it using the Hub. This time, the WebGL publisher was installed along with Unity 6.
Unfortunately the Hub install threw an error many times and I had to install via standalone.
How do I install WebGL for the standalone Editor install?
i had a similar problem (linux module), here is how i fixed it.
Contains both manual and “half manual ways” (find the installer in temp and install self)
Also you can fix add modules by changing editors default folder in Hub, explained in it too.
