Can't Assign Lights to Light Layers

I’ve been trying to experiment with Light Layers which was added to URP 12, but I can’t assign lights to light layers. When inspecting a mesh, I can assign light layer masks to meshes via Mesh Renderer > Additional Properties > Rendering Layer Mask. I can also rename Light Layers in the settings. However, when inspecting lights none of the light layer related properties show up.

Am I missing a setting? Or is this bug that made it out of 2021.2 beta?

Environment:

  • Windows 10

  • Unity 2021.2.0f1

  • URP 12.1.0

  • Existing & new projects

Recreation:
Follow the instructions in the docs to enable light layers: Light Layers | Universal RP | 12.1.15

  • Click show additional properties in the URP Asset. Success.
  • Select Lighting Layers. Success.

According to the documents, my lights should now have a Light Layer dropdown, but they do not.

Expected (from docs):

Actual:

Resolved with 2021.2.4f1.

If migrating from a previous version. Re-nable Light Layers in the URP asset, then check the light again.
