Can't assign script?


I have a bit of a weird problem. I’ve got a script called AudioManager, and another script that has a public variable that references it. All the code works correctly, because it’s all linked up correctly but I added another script and the AudioManager field in the inspector was blank, which is normal, so I used the search circle on the right of the public field and there was no script visible. I had to manually drag it in and no editor scripts will automatically add them when I’ve told them to as well.

Any ideas?

Check the scene tab after clicking on circles to assign the script. if the scene has the script then it will show the game object that contains that script.

If not Shows that means either script may have any compile-time error or script is not added to any object in the current scene.
