Can't bake lightmap with trees on a terrain

Hi! Just arrived from Unity 4.6 to 5, and have a problem. My trees don’t want to make shadows when I’m trying to bake it. All tree’s prefabs is static. When I create one tree by prefab - it works. But don’t work with terrain’s trees.

I have the same issue. I can’t figure out how to make terrain trees cast shadows on the lightmap in Unity 5 (trees cast baked shadows in Beast).

maybe you can use model ground

I would but unity terrain has too many advantages, and works with Terain Composer and other plugins.

I’m guessing it’s a bug

I just moved from 4.6 to 5.1 and I’m having this same problem, any luck?
