Can't build to iPad simulator- anybody know what it means?!

I’ve been building iphone apps for a while now and I want to start porting one over to iPad. First stop was the simulator (with Unity 1.7 and SDK 4.0), of course, which seems to fail quite spectacularly with ‘unknown error’!

Anybody got any hints or clues?

The trouble (red exclamation marks, all 28 of them!) starts here:

Thanks for any help / tips / support etc.
Jeff.

the iphone simulator support no longer works with the OS4 SDK

Doh! I wish Unity would update their stuff to say that - I read and re-read the bumpf on 1.7 to make sure that I wasn’t getting it wrong … oh well.

Thanks, man. That was stressful!

Jeff.

I doubt they would have expected OS4 to fuck up something which OS4 does not even cover at all (iPad) and it makes no sense to me either actually.

guess the iPhone 4 simulator part is responsible for the problems

I hope the support comes back with Unity iPhone 3, though I bought myself a physical device to be able to do more than “look at it”

Good ol’ Apple. Reliable, trustworthy and kind to developers as always

Thanks again - without your info, I could probably have spent the entire day chasing my tail!
