I am having the same issue. I have tried 2 different credit cards, both of which I have used to purchase items off the asset story before already.
solved this problem: Sometimes this error occurs when you have not enough money, for example assets cost $20, but you need have $21-$22 on card. And you can also try PayPal.
+1 both cards say this, despite having cash on them both.
