I can’t seem to change the material on any sprites within the Editor. It’s always set to Sprites-Default
Yes, same here. What is worst is that this experimental version changed all the materials attached to the SpriteRenderers when importing an existing project.
To restore them, you need to drag & drop the material to the empty space where you attach new Components in the GameObject, not to the “Material” slot in the SpriteRenderer. Hope this helps
