I’ve upgraded a 2021…3.5f1 project to unity 2022.3.3f1, but as i loaded my project, all my prefabs are deformed, like skiny characters, and i want to create a new prefab to test something, and i can’t, it creates a prefab with a different icon, with stripes on the side of the blue cube, and my libraries says that that isn’t a prefab. Whats going on?
That’s the icon for a prefab variant.
But why 2022.3.3f1? Why not try the latest, most stable 2022.3 LTS version?
if i create a cube and drag it to the project it becomes a normal prefab, but if i select and fbx of my character, it turns into that prefab variant, wich it never did before on other unity versions.
I mean imported models automatically get turned into a prefab. If you drag that prefab into a scene, then said prefab into your projects, yeah it will make it a prefab variant.
If you unpack the prefab then drag it in, it will be a normal prefab.
