Im on Mac. I just bought an animation using the Mixamo store plugin and received the invoice by email. When I try to download the purchase it says “You are currently offline”
Im connected to the internet. I can browse the asset store. I can download older mixamo animations and buy and download new assets that are not mixamo.
One difference i noticed today is that the list of my purchase in the asset store now has smaller icons, and there is a separate tab that holds all my purchased Mixamo animations (my new purchase is in there)
So really everything works except downloading this one animation (its a Swing Dance). It also lets me put the animation in my shopping cart as many times as I want and keeps increasing the product number (so i can have 5 of the same swing dance animations with product numbers 62069, 62070, 62071, etc…)
What Ive tried
restarting the computer and Unity
installing unity 3.4.4 fresh and trying to download
logging into the Asset Store via the website as well as loging in and out of both web and editor based stores
disabling parental controls on mac
disabling firewall
changing MonoDevelop and Unity App permissions for everyone to Read+Write
Hey Protopop, a few other users have mentioned a similar issue this morning. Can you email directly pluginsupport@mixamo with your asset store login? We are checking if this is on our side or on the Unity side.
It’s stuck on “Waiting for Server” message now BUT this is at least better than before when it would almost instantly goto to “You’re Offline” message.
As a developer there is NOTHING like moving past a bug.
BTW your animation looks great in my scene.
Edit: I bought another one and it is stuck on waiting for server again, BUT im optimistic because i was able to download the last one, so i will keep trying:)
Edit2: it downloaded after about 5 minutes so that’s cool
I’ve always wondered what’s going on there. There seems to be a pretty long delay between pressing the buy button and the asset finally starting to download, and there’s no feedback. It’s something which could surely use improving, even if it’s just a pop-up editor window that tells us the state of whatever is going on.
