Can't even install. I get an NSIS error when trying to open the installer.

As the title says, I am running on windows 7, 64 bit using chrome to download the file. The file seems to stop downloading about half way through and just “finishes” and I assume that has something to do with it. I can’t find any other way to download unity and this is a really frustrating experience.

So any thoughts? Ideas?

Yes, the download is incomplete. An NSIS error basically means the installer can’t complete. So, visit the patch release site. This site include MD5 checksums for the installers, so you can check whether what you have downloaded is identical to what is hosted. If your checksum is different then the installer will not work. (The error does suggest you have an incomplete download…)
