i cant go in textured mode in unity its so annoying
What do you mean you canāt go into textured mode? Is the option not available? Screenshots? Video?
Wait what? As far as Iām aware Unity doesnāt have a textured mode⦠Am I missing something?
Yea, same here. I donāt understand the question.
Same here, I am lost haahah.
Maybe the scene view rendering got changed and he canāt/doesnāt know how to change it back?
Yeah, not hard to fix that, under scene thereās a drop down menu and bam pick the correct one lol.
I know in modelling software itās often relevant to switch between wire frame, solid and textured modes. But I didnāt think that Unity could do that.

So Iām telling a lie. Unity does have a wireframe mode. Who knew.
But Unity calls ātexturedā mode āshadedā mode, which is a lot more than just textures.
@Kiwasi - Dang you never knew Unity had a Wireframe mode!
Its surprising the things I donāt know sometimes. Almost all of my Unity knowledge is self taught. If Iāve never actively googled something, stumbled across it in the manual, or been asked about it on the forums, then chances are I donāt know about it.
That said wireframe mode is pretty easy to find. Iām somewhat embarrassed that I missed it.
Who knows, maybe there really is a āmake an MMOā button there too.
I hear you man! Iām the same way!
But the Wireframe part is kinda funny hahaah. I mean itās just one of them things where I see Shaded under Scene and see what other options there are because I see a downward arrow lol. I donāt just go out of my way to find if things are there, but yeah lol.
Kind of ironic since I believe they added new modes to deal with enlighten, so it should have been talked about recently (well, since 5). Then again, if you arenāt bashing your head against it, you probably wonāt care about the render pipeline tools. Iāve only ever changed it for mesh generation, and even then it was usually to the textured wireframe mode which is basically just like global object selection.
That makes sense then. Iāve been ignoring enlighten. Lighting sounds too much like art stuff.
Lighting is crutch for those who canāt texture well.
And what does that say about those of us that canāt do lighting either?
Pixel art?
Hahahaha yup I believe so

Assuming you arenāt trying to get into the flat shaded/low poly art, which is seeming to be a real, acceptable art style because modern lighting works so damn well with it. I suppose it still doesnāt negate the ācanāt texture wellā argument though either.
