When I try to import a sprite to unity, all of this white space is added around the image. In addition to this part of the image becomes offset. As you can see in the pictures, when I created the file in photoshop, the image is against a transparent background. But as soon as I place it inside of unity a white background is added and the bottom part of the chain gets cut off and placed at the top. I am sure that its something simple. But any help would be appreciated.
try image RGB color mode in photoshop (instead of grayscale).
