Can't install components for Unity 2019.4.13f1

Hello,

I am having trouble installing the components for Unity version 2019.4.13f1. I’m trying to install WebGL, Windows Support, etc. for my editor from this website, and whenever I download the files and try to open them, it wouldn’t open any installer window, nothing. I originally tried to download and install the Unity editor along with my desired components via the Unity Hub, and when the editor says it finishes installing, it disappears from the Hub, saying that I haven’t installed anything yet, even though clearly I was downloading and installing the editor.

So, I just ended up installing the editor only in the download archives and it works; the editor works and everything, but WebGL isn’t installed or anything. So, I tried to install the components by using the download assistant, and when downloading and executing the files, a pop-up window says that I lost connection or something, even though my computer is connected to the router via ethernet, and the wifi and everything is fine, so that’s weird and it got frustrating. Also, when I tried to add modules to my already installed editor on the Unity Hub, it doesn’t give me the option to.

I’m all out of ideas; I don’t know what’s wrong. I don’t know if there’s something wrong with the Unity version I’m trying to install or if there’s something wrong I’m doing. Any answer would be great and appreciated.

Thanks.

First thing I would try is backing up a few versions… 2019.4.12 has had some issues reported elsewhere so maybe that tradition is alive and well in 2019.4.13.

We’re using 2019.4.8 without issue and I have iOS, Android and WebGL targets installed.

Remember all LTS builds are created equal. Some are just more equal than others.

I can’t seem to install the version you’re using. I tried to open the download assistant, but it won’t open, even after I selected both “yes” and “no” for the “would you like to allow this file to change your pc?” pop-up to see if it makes a difference. I then tried to install the editor itself, but it told me that the application was unable to start correctly, and gives me a error code of 0xc000007b. Do you know by any chance what that code means?

I’ve also tried to install a couple of previous versions before 2019.4.8 but they didn’t work. Same results pretty much
