So I downloaded the unity hub and everything was working fine and when it came to downloading a unity editor it would always just end up not working. Every time its about to finish up it just disappears like nothing happened. I also was having issues with adding the unity editors path, I copied it onto the path and every time I clicked save it would never work and would always be blank and when I try to manually select the path I am unable to chose the unity hub at all. I am on a Mac computer, does anyone know how to fix this
same happened to me man. I have no idea what’s wrong
Tried on a different Mac, had the same issue.
Hey there,
I’m on windows but have the same problem as you. I have a feeling it might be the version itself, so I’m gonna install the 2019 version of Unity and see if it works. I’ll report back to you here. Wish me luck
You can try downloading the Unity Editor directly and once installed you just add the already installed editor version to the Hub. If it is having trouble installing still you may even get more information as to why it is failing, since it isn’t trying to install in the background hidden from view like the Hub tries to do.
Archive for all available Unity Editor versions:
It seems it is not a problem with the version itself, but rather with Unity Hub
I’ve tried installing the different versions (on Unity hub) multiple times, yet it has failed every time. As if it weren’t bad enough, it seems the failed installs are also taking up storage space on my device. I’ve checked the folders, yet it doesn’t seem like anything has been added at all. Does anyone know about this?
P.S. With every box checked (saying it should take up approx. 25 GB) it only took around 5 each time.
Maestro, thou art an angel
It worked. Thx man
I tried from installing from the hub and archive and I still can’t download the editor
