Around the last three months, I can’t update Unity with UnityHun. It simply does nothing.
No errors, no crashes – just nothing.
So I was forced to download Unity from the torrents.
Now it seems no more available. At least there are no torrent links from the download page.
So I have to ask for help. How to make UnityHub works?

Which Hub version are you using ? It looks more as a bad internet connection problem because it takes so long even to load the modules list. I will advise you to upgrade to the latest version of the hub and install the editor with no modules (because what you are installing is about 14 GB) and wait till it starts the downloading. If it didn’t work please report a bug and we will look into the logs.

Doesn’t work
I am also having this problem. I tried no modules.
A windows UAC popup asks me if I want to run Windows Command Processor right after I hit “Add”, but when I click “Yes” it does nothing else.
The same thing happens when I try to remove a unity install.
Unity Hub version: 2.2.1
If I remember correctly, this started happening around version 2.2.0, before that I was able to manage my installations just fine.
I have been letting it auto-update itself since around version 2.1.3 or so (I know this because that version is stuck in windows Apps & features list, unable to uninstall)
I have tried reinstalling Unity Hub, twice.
This is weird. I’ll alert you to file corruption
Updated to Unity Hub 2.2.2 and everything appears to be working again
