Cant make Basic Water work

Well thats pretty much it.
I Select the object and drag it into my scene, then i get a big rounded surface that should be water but its just pure blue.
I selected every option involving Tiling and it doesnt matter if i put 1 or 10000 its always exactly the same. It seems that the shader “FX water simple” is the problem though, because when i use any other shader i can se the water, but its not moving of course…

I had the same problem a couple days ago when trying it. I’m now using Daylight Water (not “Daylight Simple Water”) from the “Water (Pro Only)” folder, making sure to use the “Water” script, not the “WaterSimple” script. Then it looks just like WaterSimple is supposed to as far as I could see. Don’t worry if you don’t have Unity Pro, it still works fine, you just won’t get all the fancy effects that Pro offers with it.

I’m not sure, but if you really want to use Daylight Simple Water and want to try something real quick, the texture might show up if you change the script to “Water” (instead of “WaterSimple”). I fiddled with all that too for awhile before it worked right.

This is how it looks on my machine when using Nighttime Water from Pro folder (even though I am using Unity Free). I use “Water” script.
