So your movement code looks like it just spins the ball rather than applying a force in a direction, and your jump code just makes the ball jump straight up. When your ball is not in contact with the ground, spinning the ball won’t create any movement other than the spin.

So you could try when not in contact with the ground to apply a force in the direction you want to move in addition to spinning the ball.
