Can't open a project in unity 5.3.6 (64bit)

When I try to open a project NOTHING HAPPENS

Unity start window opens

but nothing happens

Task manager says there is a unity running but the editor is not open

I have to use this version of Unity because compatibility reasons. This version worked on my other computer.

And yes I have Uninstalled, Reinstalled,Deleted User preferences, and deleted registry files but still no response.
