Hello. I’m a student in computer science and I need to use Unity for my assignment. I downloaded, installed and chosed to register through internet activation. I placed my email and clicked on the Free license button, but I kept getting a “HTTP status 500” error, saying there was an error and i must manually activate it. But the funny thing is that I installed Unity yesterday on my pc with no problem , but i had to format it due to non-related problems, so i’m installing it again. Also after the error, if i click the “back” button, and then “next” and “next” again,the software just freezes. Is the system offline today? Please help! Thank you.

Yes, unfortunately the registration server went down for quite some time. However, everything seems to be OK again now. Apologies for any trouble caused by this.
No need to apoligise, these things happen and thanks for the reply. It is working now. I was just a little scared that this could be a problem in my computer (i have windows so, getting the blue screen of hell is like eating, just a normal part of my life). Anyway, my first post showed me that my friends were right about how good this community is! =D I’ll be making games and sharing with you soon…i hope.
