When I try to build and run and save to android, it asks where to save then it says location could not be detected and I have the android sdk installed on my computer. I am using windows 8
when the build process asks for the android sdk folder, navigate to the “sdk” folder you have downloaded (the one next to the eclispe folder). this should be the folder the build process needs.
so don’t click “ok” or cancel… just navigate to the downloaded “sdk” folder and you are good
you need to click the “select folder” button after you navigated to the “sdk” folder. the menu waits for your confirmation (which is pressing the button)
This is something, what was happening was my virus protection firewall was blocking Unity from accessing the program files where the android sdk folder is. Wow. You learn something everyday and what you think is the problem sometimes, may not be. Thanks iossif
