Can't see or preview path, can't rename

Assuming these are bugs instead of feature request, since it’s essentially vanilla/basic/expected:

This information is pretty useless for everyone:

  1. I can’t see the preview path if I hover over the path.

  2. No one has tiny paths/to/their/repo/project small enough to show what their project actually is. Why even show the left side and not the right? Can a single person here (especially for professional projects; not personal) attest to seeing more than the path prefix? Most are deeply nested and organized well.

  3. There are separators, but I can’t even adjust them to reveal the full path name, either.

  4. I can’t rename my project. The average person’s project name is going to be src (or client for multiplayer projects).

So the result is… all the paths showing the same thing, that can’t be preview the full path or repo name, all named the same. Come on, Unity…

Although you’re right that Unity should do something about this. But not for everyone.

What version of the hub are you on (should always include the relevant version).

But like the Ninja above this is not my experience with the Hub. I see project names and full paths to the projects as well.

I stand corrected, but I’d still assume the majority since, iirc, the default new project throws you in my docs. Hub only shows roughly 3 short-named path dirs. Let’s say in Windows, you store it in a nested my documents dir. Windows ~home docs is quite deep. That, alone, would show:

C:\users\SomeUser\My Documents\

In the screenshot earlier, mine was similar at ~/repos/

And we’re already at the limit before getting to the proj dir.
