Can't understand Blender's snapping feature

First off, sorry about posting this here, and not on the Blender forums. I just can’t be bothered with the manual e-mail registration.

And just letting everyone know as well, I’m not new to blender. I’ve used it many times and can create a lot of stuff, I just didn’t have to use this feature before.

So anyway, I have a circle that hasn’t been filled it yet, and I want to snap a curve on one of the in-side vertexes. How would I do it?

P.S. I’ve also looked at the Blender digital manual, and that hasn’t helped me one bit. My guess is that the part I was looking at was outdated. because I was doing exactly what it told me to.

STUPID QUESTION, ABORT ABORT!

I didn’t realize I have to move the curve with RMB for it to snap. Please don’t make fun of me, I was trying to do this at 4AM.
