Can't use mouse wheel to scroll animation list in animation window on windows

Pretty self-explanatory issue. When on Windows (at least the two machines I’ve tested this on), I can’t scroll the animation list with my mouse wheel, and need to rely on the scroll arrows at the top/bottom. For my main player animator, this is a really aggravating productivity killer, since it can take 30+ seconds to get to animations on the bottom of the list.
I’ve tried looking up other people experiencing this problem, but have found a shocking lack of posts/tickets about this, this is the main one I could find:

Just posting here to see if anyone else has encountered this issue? Or if this is known and there’s some fix/workaround?

Bumping this post, I can scroll through the animation list on Mac OS but not on Windows, can’t believe this is still an issue that still has a shocking lack of posts/tickets about it till this day.

Is there still no fix/workaround?

3 years later, still can’t!

I followed up on this in a new thread a few months back and even referenced your post. Here’s their response: https://discussions.unity.com/t/886703

Here is a ticket that seems related, I suspect they use the same menu for animations and enums. https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/windows-editor-inspector-dropdown-list-doesnt-scroll-with-mouse-wheel

It does not seem like there is any intention to address this.

Yup, landed on those threads previously. The editor script solution seemed promising, but only worked for inspector-based instances like for custom editors. Sadly didn’t solve for the animation window issue.
And yup, unfortunately seems like they don’t see it as an issue to solve…
