In version 5.1.1p4 I am using a Canvas object set to Screenspace Overlay and it will render in the non-vr monitor, which is what I need. However, when I enabled the oculus the UI becomes partially transparent and when I disable the Oculus it is completely opaque. Is there a way to make the UI fully opaque even when the Oculus is enabled? This is only available after I after created a executable, the UI doesn’t show while running in the editor.
Screenspace Overlay does not work properly in Virtual Reality at the moment as you are seeing. This is mentioned as a known issue on the VR 5.1 Getting Started forum thread. Until this is fixed, please use either Screenspace Camera or World Space. Sorry for the inconvenience.
