CAR paint shaders M

Does /Car paint shaders asset\ work with mobile and does it have glass shader
If not is /Car paint mobile shader pro\ really worth it

Depends what you mean by mobile.

A lot of people don’t seem to think that now’a days you have phones that can compete with even a moderately alright computer.

Like my phone for example.

LG-G3

2.4 Quad Core Processor
3 gigs of ram
32 Gigs of HD Space
Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (Qualcomm® Adreno™ 330 GPU)
2560x2048 + 1080p and 4K external displays supported

It can handle massive amounts of Parralax Mapping, Normal Maps, Line Rendering, 200K + trees + Grass, on a 20,000 x 20,000 terrain with a Pixel Error of 5.

And so on…

It’s truly the next generation of phones, more people should help push technology to it’s limits with how powerful phones are now.

what do you mean by HD space

So can a galaxy note 2 with
1.6 quad cortex A-9
2 gigs of ram
32 gigs of space
MALI-400MP4 GPU
720x1280
handle half of the massive amounts you stated

HD Space = Hardrive Space.
(Didn’t know what else to call it) not sure if it’s called a Hardrive, but it acts the same as one technically LOL.

Honestly I can’t say.
You’ll just have to test how far you can push your phone.

Start out with a 20,000 x 20,000 terrain (just for a stress test).

If you can keep a decent frame rate (I was getting 160 Frames Per Second)
If you can get at least in the 100 Frames Per Second (if you know how to script you can script the GUI to show it).

But anyways, if you can’t, just see if is smooth on your phone,
if it is, add 20 thousand trees (mass placement) and add grass.
(Make sure you adjust the grass settings) if you place the most grass in any given spot (if it’s a nice area) it will slow down your phone, you don’t really have to use it sparingly, just adjust the grass settings to a reasonable level, E.G. - (The Render Distance, etc).

If your phone can handle that, then I’m sure it can handle nice car paint shaders, etc.
However that may be, you can just go ahead and test out the car painting shader if it works it works. lol.

I am not aiming for the truly next gen of mobile phones
Some people still use an iPhone 4 rather than a iPhone 6
More people should help push there games to a higher level for more amount of mobile devices

Holy s*** that so god damn awesome
160 FPS

Hey I have nothing against old school stuff, I actually prefer it.

I can play Duke Nukem 3D all day long.

But then again, that’s not good.
If you don’t strive to be the next best thing you’ll always settle for less.
I mean we all have our first game we want to make and stuff (not sure if it’s your first).
Just saying.

Nothing wrong with starting out from the bottom, I mean that’s how we all learn.
But HYPOTHETICALLY - if you have the skill, the time and resources. Screw older generation phones, they will hold you back.

You ever notice everybody still builds for lower end devices? It isn’t because they want to please people, it’s because it’s a quick buck. Even the best Unity people do it.

However that may be, I don’t claim to be the best, I’m far from it. However, but could you picture being the first person to truly create Xbox 360 Graphics on a phone? (Well close to it, you know what I mean.) You would be like the god of Phone games, and if your game becomes popular, guess what. It will push more people to purchase the good phones just so they can play your game, thus forcing people to start creating higher quality mobile games.

It’s a dog eat dog world, but it is what it is. lol.

Tell me about it!

So now that I know how much my phone can handle, I am bulding my game for PC development then after I release PC build of my game, I will port it over to Android, I know it will take forever to re-compile. The only difference I’ll have to do is optimize less Mesh Colliders for my abnormally shaped objects.

It’s close to being as good as a computer, but it’s not quite there yet. But very close.

My Laptop has 2 Gigs of Ram, 1 gig graphics card, 2.4 Dual Core I’Core3.

Yeah I was thinking about quick buck too

Yeah, well if you think about it though, building Xbox 360 Graphics for a phone game (again, not literally) but close.
You can charge more than 99 cents or free to play.

This Free To Play shit has got to go, it’s flooded the market with useless crap and now everyone expects it all to be free.
Well guess what, your xbox 360 graphics quality game would be the only one, so you have a monopoly, give me 10 dollars or get the f**k outta my page to purchase my game.

So your quick bucks turn into quick 100 bucks lol.
(Again, that’s if your game gets popular). lol.

Yeah this aint fair
There should be different sections like console grade games, idiotic games, paid apps, idiotic apps, puzzle games,
2d games, hall of fame and most download
They should check when an idiotic game is submitted to their store

And every day my 6 year old brother is downloading cheap fart games on my mobile and putting my mobile under my buttocks

Maybe a demo will make them get the F*** out of there googley wallets

Would 15k poly on screen on a mobile with a good gpu work fine around 25-30 fps

Poly counts on screen don’t matter because it depends what else is going on, physics, what shaders are used, how much overdraw happening etc etc.

With bad shader combinations or a lot of overdraw you can easily go below 10fps even with 10k poly total

How many draw calls can a high tech mobile handle,100-150?

Same answer kinda applies to draw calls, you can make it crawl with only 10-30 draw calls depending of the other stuff but can easily go over 200 with optimal stuff

So an Alienware m18 should be able to handle over 1500 draw calls
