Cardboard doesn't render properly after Build & Run on Mac

I made a Cardboard application which was building fine on Windows PC, but I was having problems with transferring it directly into phone via USB (it kept saying it couldn’t find my phone), so I decided to swap the project over to Macbook Pro and give it a try.

Phone is detected, so that speeds up the build and test process… but when I do Build and Run, the project does not build the same way! It does not render stereoscopic left-and-right views like it should. Instead, it is a single, monoscopic, full-screen camera view (that is static – it doesn’t move with phone movement)

Any idea why this could be? At one point, I accidentally had a (non-Cardboard) main camera in the scene, but I have since deleted that and the build still looks the same, even though testing it in the Unity editor works properly…

I completely uninstall the app before doing another build and run… is there some sort of caching that occurs and is loading up my old application?

Or is this a different issue? (I also downgraded to 5.1.3 in the process, due the reports of worse performance from newer releases…)

did you ever solve this issue? Im having it now :frowning:
