(Case: 1201868) Cannot create FMOD::Sound instance for clip in 2019.3b11, 2019.3b12, 2019.3.0f1

Hello Guys,

I am experiencing a strange bug in different 2019.3 versions. I also tried different computers, different OS (Win / Mac) and a clean project. But the bug is always reproducible.

The problem: When building a WebGL project I am getting the “Error: Cannot create FMOD::Sound instance for clip” error. It is 100% reproducible on Win and Mac also. I tried 2019.3b11, 2019.3b12, 2019.3.0f1 and I get the same result all the time. I didn’t find any report and solution for this on the forums.

How to reproduce: Create a new URP project add Doozy UI 3.0 or 3.1 and switch to WebGL. Playing in the editor is ok, but when you start to build the project the error appears.

Do you know how to solve it or is there any workaround?

Thanks, Robert

Any update on this?

I reported it early in December, too. Seems like the fix is already in review:
