Casual: Environment, Character, UX, Cutscene Artist colab opportunity

We have just completed a preliminary game design document for a new Demo Game Called Ancient Echo and have opportunities for several artists to be involved.

Please note, this is NOT a commercial project and is only a very basic demo game, designed to build our skills, collaboration and learn more about making games, so the next one is bigger and better.

Opportunity Roles are as follows;

  • Environmental Art - Model and Texture, Mountains, Trees, Rocks etc
  • Character Art - Model and Animate Player Character, Enemies, NPC’s
  • UX Art - Interface Art
  • Cutscene Art
  • Level Design and Block out by others

Please note, the aesthetic style below;

The game is a Survival RPG in a medieval fantasy setting, and is extremely simple in nature, to keep the scope in hand and achievable.

At present we have a game designer, an engineer on board who have some education and experience. Looks like we just recruited another engineer who is a junior by the sounds of it. We have not started on production yet but are very keen to get going, hopefully in the next week or two. We are both working casually on the project as we both have other jobs.

The whole idea is here just to have some fun and work on a small project together, and in the future maybe we can make something a little more complex and then who knows.
