Hello all-

I have been playing around with multiplayer engines in Unity. I have tried PUN and gotten an unfixable system glitch error having to do with Bokken. Altering was a scam. I have to pay $5/month to even RELEASE with their systems. Then I started using the basic, Unity networking. No 3rd party multiplayer companies. My question is, how many CCU does Unity free plan give you when using their network service? Or do they not host multiplayer and I’m just missing something? I can’t get a clear answer through Google. I am also relatively new to Unity, so, yeah.

Netcode for GameObjects/Entities is free to use but does not include features like hosting, matchmaking, lobby, etc. and you’re not forced to use UGS to get those either. For example you can use NGO with a Steam Transport to use Steam’s networking features, or rent your own dedicated server and manage everything by yourself (which is a ton of work though).
