Chances of getting Tilemaps into 5.6 point release?

Hello,

I’ve been looking forward to the Tilemap feature. I bought a Unity 5 Pro perpetual license and was hoping to get all features I need for my projects with it. I just read the blog post that 5.6 wraps up the 5.x release cycle.

Is there any chance we 5 Pro license holders can get at least the tilemap features included in our license? The promised 2D features were the reason I went ahead and made the purchase. :frowning:

They’ve been horribly slow getting TileMap to a production state, and the communication is pretty abysmal unfortunately.

I’ve been waiting for quite a long time myself.
