Change Object's Origin

Is there a way to change where a object's origin is? I couldn't figure out how to do it in unity so In blender I made a mesh, changed the origin point and exported it to unity but the point just went back to the center. Is this possible and how do I do it???

I don't think it did go back. I think you didn't switch from Center to Pivot in the upper-left section of the Editor.
