Change texture offset of child

I am a bit confused on parent/child relationships; I have a script attached to the parent where I’d like to change the texture offset of the child.

Obviously, renderer.material.mainTextureOffset = Vector2(whatever) only changes the parent.

What’s the syntax to change the child object? (There is only one, if that matters)

You can use

GetComponentInChildren<Renderer>().mainTextureOffset = whatever;

If you need JS, it goes like this-

GetComponentInChildren(Renderer).mainTextureOffset = whatever;
