Changes to animation aren't applying

I swear I’ve managed this before, but changes I’ve made to an animation using the Animation tab aren’t saving the changes. I’ve rotated an object during an animation and marked the keyframes, but when playing the animation back in-game, the original animation plays with the default rotation. If I select the animation via the Animation tab whilst in-game, it works. But otherwise, it doesn’t. I’ve tried dropping the animation file into the Animator Controller as well, but it’s not making any difference.

Anyone? I’ve tried adjusting the position and scale for the character during play, and those do show the changes, but rotating the weapon isn’t showing, and I haven’t a clue why. :frowning:

I’ve even tried deleting the position and rotation keyframes of the gun, pressed the record button, re-added the gun and adjusted the position/rotation, copied and pasted the keyframes at certain points to keep it consistent throughout, un-clicked record, and it still doesn’t play the adjusted animation. I’ve selected the Attack animation state under the Animator, set the Motion to None in the box, and then dragged and dropped the Attack animation file in there. Still doesn’t play the adjusted the animation.

I can’t even manipulate it during play if I pause, just to see if it changes position/rotation.

Appreciate the suggestions, guys…

I’ve had to spend ages trying to figure it out, but at least I now know why… It was because of the Avatar Mask I’d applied to my Attack Layer.
