Changing terrain texture?

I’m wondering if there’s a way to change a terrain texture on the fly. Even better would be if it could be faded in. I have a few particle systems set up for weather effects and I’d like to change the terrain texture from whatever it is to a snow texture when the snow system is on.

Since I’m on the topic and it’s similar, is there a way to fade in a new skybox? I know how to change the skybox, but weather systems don’t appear instantly :lol:

As far as i know, yes, the skybox can be changed at runtime. And if i dont remember wrong, there is already a shader on the Unify Wiki wich does blend between two different skyboxes…
