Changing Windows Phone's splash screen using free license

Hi there,

I see that I’m able to change the splash screen on a Windows Phone application using the free license.
It says here that free licenses can’t change splash screens: Real-time tools for 3D, AR, and VR development | Products

Is it illegal to do that?

Don’t think it is illegal, just not possible with free.

Well, still, I was able to do that. Somehow.

I want to know what will happen if I release my application without Unity’s splash screen.
