character control problem

I have animated character in my game.Before play mode character is in grounded mode.when i play the game character is walking in the air a little height from the terrain.i have attached Fps character controller and rigid body with is kinematics = true, to the character.I tried many method it is not working .But in inspector it is showing is Grounded = true,.suggestions are welcomed.i put rigid body for collision purpose.

yes, but your character controller is what’s saying whether it’s grounded or not, not the mesh. Check if their alignment is off slightly.
