I’m using the root motion script from the stealth tutorial, with unity 4.3, for movement and everything is working fine, except that when I move my character theres part of the mesh on the face that deforms. It moves way ahead of the rest of the character while i hold down the arrow keys or W,S,A,D but as soon as I release the keys, the character goes back to it’s correct shape.
Does anybody know why? could it be an issue with the painted weights in maya before exporting the fbx?
If I don’t select the root bone under “Rig” on the imported character, the animations are triggered but the character remains in the same spot, but there’s no deformities. Any ideas?
