It states on the website that you can use for commercial use once you thank them and no compensation need and my characters have rigs and animations.
You should not misrepresent these models as your work. You do not hold the copyright to it. These models are already copyrighted by the original authors, and are licensed only by the LGPL. This license contains restrictions that you CANNOT remove, as they are not your models, and you do not hold a copyright on them.

If he’s properly rigging them and animating them, thats definitely a lot of added value.
Also, the original website is really unclear as to what the actual license the work is released under.
EDIT: The license is LGPL, apparently.
I have asked the original publishers and if I can not resell them ill give them away for free which hopefully I wont have to xd
Just credit them, and make people aware of the license.
