Hey all,
The problem is after an animation the character moves back to the previous(x) position, I was thinking of changing the animation… But is there another method for this issue?

I don’t know if you specific problem is the same, but when this happened to me, I clicked on the ☐ Apply root motion. Unchecking that box stopped my model from moving around during animation.
Set the Wrap mode of animation to Clamp Forever. I think that should do it
I Figured it out after tampering a while with the editor.
the Solution is quiet simple.
This is a humanoid character so.
In the character Animation → Click Animations → Root Transform Position (Y) —> Check Bake into Pose
So apparently this will bake the animations position to where the animation is moving and the next animation will be played at the ending position of the previous animation.
My problem was same ,so if your player position is changing in x z direction ,uncheck the bake into pose of root transform xz and make the bake upon center of mass.
Uncheck the same the same root transform xz bake into pose box for other animation
