Character posing / animation

Hi,

I plan to use Unity for simple projects. I have the following workflow:

  1. I have a rigged model.
  2. I import it to my project and apply textures on it.
  3. It is inserted into a scene.
  4. For animation / posing I use Mixamo. When I’m finished there The animation is imported into Unity.
  5. I can attach / play animation on my model from 1. without any problem. When I say animation it is a stretch, actualy it is a sitting pose.

Is there a way to apply this pose to my previously inserted model? and when I do it and go to edit mode, I need my model to keep this pose.

I have a script I use to copy and paste character poses. I couldn’t quickly find the thread where that one was discussed, but maybe this one will do it for you.
