Character running at super speed


I’ve encountered a problem when trying to make a movement script with rigidbody. My character keeps running at super huge speed, no matter what acceleration,movement speed,max speed etc I put.

I’ve also tried others scripts which I found on Google, but the same problem occurred.

Can someone help me, how to fix this?


Are you using Time.deltaTime ?

characterController.Move(speed * Time.deltaTime)
