Character Sensitivity

using UnityEngine;
using System.Collections;

public class Move : MonoBehaviour {

	// Use this for initialization
	void Start () {

	}

	// Update is called once per frame
	void Update () {
	transform.position += new Vector3(Input.GetAxis("Horizontal"),0,0);

	}

}

I would like to change the sensitivity of my player in my game. The player moves to fast and i do not have a very large background in the vector 3 so any help would be appreciated. Thanks! This is my move code below.

Multiply the Input.GetAxis("Horizontal")by some value less than 1.

You could make it a float variable called “sensitivity.”

I wouldn’t use that method to move a character, but if that’s how you’re doing it this will fix your problem.
