wow, this does really look good

I like this model and the animations and would buy it some time in the future, but the price tag is too heavy (in my opinion):

I’ll explain why: for example I have seen on the website that male and female warriors are split into 2 different packs: Battlerage Elfs and Soulblade Elfs (which unfortunately are not in the Asset Store). The graphical style/textures of both of them are of the exact same type. It’s obvious they are considered in “pairs” which belong together, yet they are sold in separate packs.

Why is it that both are sold in separate packs? Why can’t I simply buy a mixed pack of Elves? If I want a male and female character I need to invest 300$ at once. A huge amount of money considering that other investments must be taken as well, adding up to it.

While on the screenshot it looks like different types of Elves the difference is only in the artwork (which btw. is great, no doubt). But… why can’t I just choose a single style instead of the 17 provided ones? I think the additional skins make up a considerable part of the overall price. For this price I’d also expect normal specular maps - which are not included - and which make the models look a little bit dated (definitely not bad, but dated). You could also sell the other skins “extra”. I mean you sell weapons “extra” as well…

That said… I can somehow understand the price as a whole pack, but it’s just that you only got the choice between: either take it or leave it. There is nothing in between. No packs with less features, skins or whatever with a smaller price.
I also don’t understand why the “Fantasy Warriors Pack” providing 3 Warriors, and with even more animations and dynamic changing of equipment seems cheaper as a whole. Is it because of the not so sophisticated artwork?

Besides the high price escapes my mind in respect to other Assets sold in the store like the Goblin or Orc pack for 65$ which delivers 10 or more different characters, each with individual weapons or armor, also smooth animations (though less) from what I’ve seen in the interactive preview, or the fully animated textured models (including specular, normal maps) of Mr. Necturus for a price of 40$ each one.

Still…I’d probably buy a “pair” of Elves ((male+female) with 1 skin style together for a price of 100$. Would be more affordable. Please correct me anytime if my price reflections are wrong.
